in net/core/dev.c, there're codes to copy between dev->dev_{addr,broadcast}
and ifr_hwaddr.sa_data (points sockaddr{} sized 16).

Well, we have code for it. :-)

BTW, why don't we have SIOCGIFHWBROADCAST??
