Try using 2.4.5 with the XFS patch on top that is available on the FTP
site oss.sgi.com. 2.4.5 is better then 2.4.2 from the 1.0 release.
It will take some time before a 1.0.1 release comes out.
Maybe we can convince Steve to make a stable tree based on a full kernel
2.4.4 or 2.4.5 and 2.4.6 when that comes out and a devel tree based on the
latest -pre kernel. It will certainly be a bit more work but it would
probably be easier when trying to make releases.
Just my 2 euro cents.
