 From xfs_check:

This looks to me like the problem is not xfs. Can you even

dd if=/dev/3diskvolume/3diskvolume of=foo bs=512 count=1 ?

the output is:

0+0 records in
0+0 records out
0 bytes (0 B) copied, 0.000688 seconds, 0.0 kB/s

 From xfs_repair:

Phase 1 - find and verify superblock...
superblock read failed, offset 0, size 524288, ag 0, rval 0

fatal error -- Invalid argument

When trying to mount the partition I also get this in /var/log/messages:

XFS: SB read failed

and anything before that?

Nothing relating to XFS or LVM.
