Hi,

Did you say you're using a driver disk from Promise? If yes then I think
it's possible that it doesn't work because the kernel module on the
driver disk is only for the original kernel on the RedHat CD.

I'm using the Promise Ultra100TX2 (PDC20268, no RAID) with no problems.
