If I boot the kernel on ext2 filesystems I will have serialport timeout but if I boot up with xfs disk I dont get timeout at all? I dont know is this right place to ask this. Linux Slackware 9.0 i386 40GB hard disk 128MT ram I try with few motherboard but no different(Intel and Asrock) I try to get timeout from usbtoserial boxes as well but there is not different.
