I haven't been following the 2.5.x branch lately. Does the XFS CVS branch support LVM and MD, or does it still need work? I understood that early 2.5 trees the vfs was quite different from the 2.4 vf

Also it must be shown that lvm in 2.5 will be worked on, but there was word from sistna when the released lvm2, that a port would happen at a later time. I think it's best to ask directly on that lis

raid0 and raid1 works perfectly, raid5 does not. raid1 over raid0 has resync problems unless you change the resync bio size, but apart from that it should be perfect. -- Jens Axboe
