[LVM vs. XFS] Our prerelease is based upon a 2.4.0 kernel, however, I think our boot disk is still a test11 kernel. Russell/Eric, can you confirm this? In that case our boot disk has LVM 0.8final, w

I run a NFS fileserver with LVM 0.8 and XFS as root filesystem, I think the kernel is 2.4.0test11, work great. But I agree with Martin the development is a mess. I try to upgrade to 0.9.X and it fail

That is correct - there was some strange behavior with the anaconda installer and the 2.4.0 (released) kernel. Although the installer _installs_ 2.4.0, it _runs_ test11 during the install.
