I've been happily running XFS (in kernel 2.6.0-test11) using a 32bit kernel on an Opteron system with a 1.7 TB RAID array on a 3ware card. For unrelated issues, I have recently tried moving to a 64b

Unfortunately that message doesn't give us much to go on... You might try xfs_repair (possibly with -n to not actually -do- anything) to see if it gives any info about problems on the filesystem. Oth

Well, I don't think this is going to help much. The output is XFS mounting filesystem sda1 XFS: failed to read root inode (990) This is using the new kernel 2.6.0. I also tried with a 64bit compiled

how about running with XFS_DEBUG, that turns on a few more printk's, maybe we'll hit one of those. (Oh, and sorry about the previous printk goosechase, of course it was going to print 990 wasn't it..
