I got a kernel oops this night while cron was running a find on my disks. I use a 2.4.7 kernel from the XFS CVS as of 20010722 14:54 (GMT). I don't use lvm, raid or anything, the kernel was compiled

on kgcc but it was rewritten. To answer the broader question, XFS will transition to gcc 3.
