- Try booting with command line option "ide=reverse". That should scan ide 3/4 before 1/2. Another possibility is adding these lines to lilo.conf. disk=/dev/hde bios=0x80

- Hi Eric and the SGI XFS Mailing List, My HPT366 controller was recognised which was great. I know Linus made mention of a 2.4.0 incompatibility with the HPT366 and IBM hard disks that is fixed in 2.4
